Have you ever been a victim of gossip? Gossip is one of those crimes many people are ashamed to admit being a victim of. Why? Because when people gossip about us, we tend to think that it’s our fault. Oftentimes, we think if we were friendlier, more relatable, or generous, maybe others wouldn’t gossip about us. Well, I’ve got news for you. The gossip that someone spreads about you has nothing to do with you. You could be the most generous, the friendliest, relatable person on earth, the person who gossips about you would still do it. It’s not about the one who is gossipped about, but the gossiper. “Evil speaking is a twofold curse, falling more heavily upon the speaker than upon the hearer. He who scatters the seeds of dissension and strife reaps in his own soul the deadly fruits. How miserable is the talebearer, the surmiser of evil! He is a stranger to true happiness” (5T 176.2). The gossiper requires a God-sip. At the root of gossip is spiritual delinquency expressed in lashing out at others behind their backs. Spirit of prophecy has lots to say about gossip. These quotes in this link shed more light on the issue:

Hi, my name is Nicole Benoit-Roy. I am a graduate student at Andrews University, pursuing a doctorate in Educational Leadership. The topic of my dissertation is Gossip. I endeavor to find a solution to the gossip problem that plagues early childhood education programs, leaving staff, faculty, and parents frustrated while students are left to suffer the consequences of academic delays due to disrespect for their educators. Children do not learn from people they don’t respect. Spirit of Prophecy states:

[Educators] can do much to discourage that evil habit, the curse of the community, the neighborhood, and the home--the habit of backbiting, gossip, and ungenerous criticism. In this, no pains should be spared. Impress upon the students the fact that this habit reveals a lack of culture and refinement and of true goodness of heart; it unfits one both for the society of the truly cultured and refined in this world and for association with the holy ones of heaven. {Ed 235.3}

As part of finding a solution to help God’s people nip this bad habit at its root, I have created the HUSTLEEFUSLL Kit. This program is designed to assist Christians or anyone who believes in the Almighty God who created the heavens and earth to build Spiritual Wealth. God is Love. A sip of God’s love instills in our hearts true love for Him and our fellow man. A deficiency in love for God and our fellow man spawns in the heart the desire to destroy one another even with our tongue. “Let the children, and the youth as well, learn what God says” about the tongue: "Death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21). {Ed 235.4, 5}. With this program, we can eradicate gossip from our lives. The choice is ours!

Your choice to pay it forward funds The HUSTLEEFUSLL Kit and keeps the program free for users around the world.

Our goal? To introduce to 1 billion people the roadmap to authentically love our fellow man.  This requires a new heart and mindset, so we’re inspired by Mathew 6:33, “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.”

$20 thousand for the production of The HUSTLEEFUSLL Kit. In every country, one billion people, including the visually and hearing impaired, in at least 100 languages.

This requires a new heart.

In The HUSTLEEFUSLL Kit, we’re creating an app that will send daily and weekly reminders to help 1 billion people stay connected to God and love their fellow man.

We’ll bring our willing hearts, you bring yours by paying it forward and spreading the word, and together we’ll watch God change hearts and minds.
